Data Deletion Instructions

This page satisfies Facebook’s data deletion requirement for apps that use Facebook Login. It explains how any user — including those who signed in via Facebook — can delete their data from ApiNxt.

ApiNxt, operated by Avenux Techspire, takes data ownership seriously. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time using either of the methods below. We respond within 30 days and confirm by email when deletion is complete.

Option 1 — Delete from your account settings

The fastest way to delete your data is from inside ApiNxt.

Sign in to ApiNxt

Go to apinxt.app/login and sign in with the account you want to delete.

Open Settings › Danger zone

Click your avatar in the top-right corner, choose Settings, then scroll to the Danger zone section at the bottom.

Click “Delete account”

You’ll be asked to confirm by typing your email address. Once confirmed, your account is immediately disabled. We purge your data from active systems within 24 hours and from backups within 30 days.

Option 2 — Email-based deletion request

If you can’t access your account — for example, you signed up with Facebook and no longer have access to that Facebook account — email privacy@avenuxtechspire.com from the address associated with your ApiNxt account, with the subject line “Delete my ApiNxt account”.

Include in your message:

  • your full name as it appears on the account;
  • the email address registered with ApiNxt;
  • if you signed up via Facebook: your Facebook user ID (optional but speeds up the process).

We may ask follow-up questions to verify your identity before proceeding. Once verified we will delete your account and confirm by email within 30 days.

What gets deleted

  • Account data: your name, email, password hash, profile photo, OAuth tokens.
  • Workspace content: all collections, requests, environments, history, and tests you created or imported.
  • Telemetry: usage events tied to your user id are anonymized within 24 hours and removed from logs within 30 days.
  • Workspace memberships: you are removed from any shared workspaces. Workspaces you owned are transferred to another member or deleted if you were the sole owner.

What may be retained

We may retain limited information after deletion if required by law or for legitimate business purposes — for example, billing records for tax compliance, abuse records to prevent re-registration of banned accounts. Retained data is minimized, kept secure, and never used for any other purpose.

Facebook-specific deletion

If you signed up using Facebook Login and only want to revoke ApiNxt’s access without deleting your ApiNxt account:

  1. Go to your Facebook Settings › Apps and Websites.
  2. Find ApiNxt in the list and click Remove.

This stops Facebook from sharing further data with ApiNxt but does not delete the data we already have. To fully delete your data, follow Option 1 or Option 2 above.
