No. ApiNxt runs entirely in your browser — sign in and you're at the workbench. There's nothing to download, no native app to keep up to date, and no plug-in to install. We deliberately built the request engine to work over the browser's fetch API so it stays as fast as a native client without ever leaving the tab.
Postman v2.1 collection import is on the launch roadmap, alongside OpenAPI 3 (Swagger) and HAR import. You'll be able to drag-drop a file or paste a URL and the importer will map authentication, environments, and tests to ApiNxt's own model. Until that lands, you can recreate collections manually — and yes, we'll make sure UUIDs survive the round-trip on import.
ApiNxt is operated by Avenux Techspire and runs on managed cloud infrastructure with MongoDB as the primary data store. Workspaces, collections, environments, and history are encrypted at rest and in transit. We use UUID identifiers end-to-end, so you can dump local Mongo and restore to prod and every reference still resolves. Full storage and retention details are in the Privacy Policy.
